They serve as regional and catastrophic loss counsel for some of the largest motor carriers and truck insurance carriers in the United States. They also handle premises liability, products liability, labor law and general negligence matters in the state and federal courts of both New York and New Jersey.

Meet our new attorneys:
Felice J. Cotignola, Partner: Felice focuses her practice in trucking and transportation casualty and serves as national and regional catastrophic loss counsel for some of the largest motor carriers and transportation insurers in the United States. She also concentrates her practice in the areas of premises liability and security.
John DeMatteo III, Partner: John’s practice encompasses a wide range of areas including transportation/federal motor carrier litigation, premises liability, and construction litigation centered around the New York State Labor Law. He has over 20 years of experience representing companies and individuals in high exposure cases in both the New York State and Federal Courts.
Allyson B. Belmont, Partner: Allyson has over 25 years of experience defending clients in trucking and transportation matters, and represents retailers, hotels, and restaurants in personal injury litigation matters in both New York and New Jersey State and Federal Courts.
Jeffrey A. Payne, Partner: With nearly 30 years of civil litigation experience, Jeffrey concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial transportation and trucking litigation, premises liability, retail, restaurant and hospitality defense. He has extensive experience in the representation of clients in high exposure cases in state and federal courts. In addition, he handles employment law matters and serves as local counsel to international and domestic cosmetic companies.
Carmen M. Vasquez, Partner: Carmen specializes in civil litigation and focuses her practice in the areas trucking and transportation litigation, labor law, construction defect, premises and security liability, municipal liability, and products liability. With over 20 years of experience, Carmen has a proven track record defending businesses and individuals in complex litigation matters across both State and Federal Courts.
Charis G. Moore, Partner: Charis focuses her practice in trucking and transportation industry defense. With a prior career as a tractor-trailer driver, Charis brings a unique perspective to our practice. She serves as a coordinator for catastrophic accident investigations, interfacing with the trucking company, adjusters, accident reconstructionists, police contacts, counsel, and opposing counsel, to achieve a careful and thorough analysis of serious accident cases.
Paul M. Tarr, Partner: Paul is a seasoned appellate advocate, litigator, and former prosecutor in the offices of the Manhattan District Attorney and the New York State Attorney General. He has experience in strategic communications relating to high-profile litigations as a former director of the corporate/financial practice of one of the world’s largest public affairs firms. Early in his career, Paul was as a judicial clerk for a United States District Judge in the District of New Jersey and worked as a litigation associate for an international corporate law firm.
Jessica A. Brewer, Partner: Jessica concentrates her practice in the areas of trucking and transportation, retailers, restaurants, and construction companies in connection with personal injury litigation. She previously worked in-house with an insurance company focusing on personal injury, property damage and no-fault insurance cases. She has previously served as a part of a National Coordinating Counsel Leadership team, managing and supervising all aspects of complex litigation across 16 states for a multinational e-commerce company.
Crystal A. Alonso, Partner: Crystal devotes her practice to civil litigation and insurance defense. Prior to joining Morrison Mahoney, Crystal practiced at a firm that served as counsel for one of the largest transportation carriers in the world, where she handled bodily injury cases arising out of trucking accidents, premises liability, and general liability matters. She has handled civil rights matters where she has litigated state claims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination and breach of contract.
Christopher Evans, Associate: Christopher focuses his practice in the areas of trucking and transportation, products liability, premises liability, general liability, and construction site accidents/labor law. Since his admission to the New York State Bar, he has dedicated his practice to commercial insurance defense litigation.
