DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION COMMITTEE
Our Firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) meets monthly and brings together a broad cross-section of the Firm, including lawyers, administrative staff and representatives from finance and technology to develop and promote these shared values at every level of our organization. Members of the DEIC devote time each month on varying activities sponsored by the committee and aimed at promoting a more inclusive and equitable workplace where all employees feel valued, respected and have equal opportunities for growth and success.
The DEIC is engaged in efforts to provide programs and services consistent with the committee’s important goals and makes a conscious effort to participate in DEI events outside the Firm. These engagements include annual meetings for local affinity bar organizations and serving as speakers on DEI programs and panels. The committee’s active participation in these events meaningfully shows others outside the firm that Morrison Mahoney LLP prioritizes and provides visible and significant support to DEI initiatives in the legal community while also providing tangible proof to our employees that the firm stands behind DEI efforts both internally and within the legal community at large.
WOMEN’S INITIATIVE GROUP
Morrison Mahoney’s Women’s Initiative Group provides a forum for attorneys to connect and develop relationships throughout the firm across multiple offices and amongst the legal community. The group offers networking, support, collaboration, speaker events, and discussions related to topics of interest in the legal profession.
