New York Partner Demi Sophocleous recently obtained a dismissal of a Discrimination Charge filed with the NYS Division of Human Rights.  Complainant employee alleged that he was wrongfully terminated in retaliation for filing a prior discrimination charge against his employer.  Following a thorough investigation and hearing, the NYS Division of Human Rights dismissed the Discrimination Charge finding that the Complainant was fired for just cause, and not in any way related to the prior discriminatory charge filed against his employer.
