Janelle M. Gordon

Janelle is a partner in the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney. She concentrates her practice in the areas of tort and liability defense. She represents insurance companies and their insureds in a range of complex civil litigation matters, including automobile, construction, premises liability and G.L. c. 93A matters. Janelle has handled numerous appearances and arguments before the Massachusetts trial and appeals courts, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She also has trial experience, and has participated in mediation and arbitration proceedings.

Prior to joining Morrison Mahoney, Janelle worked as an immigration attorney defending asylum-seekers in removal proceedings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review. She also worked for several years at a well-known Social Security disability firm, and successfully tried over a hundred disability cases. Janelle attended Western New England University where she earned a bachelor’s degree and juris doctor in just six years while playing varsity lacrosse.
