Charlene M. Russo

Charlene is a partner in both the Hartford and Bridgeport offices of Morrison Mahoney. Her practice focuses on the defense of tort litigation, including premises and motor vehicle liability, professional liability and products liability as well as workers’ compensation and insurance coverage matters. Over the past 34 years she has tried numerous cases, successfully defending businesses, individuals and employers.  She has worked directly and extensively with insurance adjusters, supervisors, managers and other insurance professionals to work toward the effective resolution of cases. Charlene’s practice involves the representation of clients in complex civil and workers’ compensation cases through trial and appeal.

• Served as managing attorney and lead trial attorney for national and regional insurers for over twenty three years.
• Successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in Connecticut courts and at the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission.
• Appointed as Attorney Trial Referee and Fact Finder/Arbitrator by the Connecticut Judicial Branch.
• Recognized as a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist by the Connecticut Bar Association.
