Morrison Mahoney is pleased to announce that the partnership has re-elected Boston partners Joe Flanagan and Joe Desmond to the firm’s five member Executive Committee.
Joe Flanagan has been with the firm since 1989. He is a trial lawyer with over 100 cases tried to verdict, over 60 of which were jury trials. Joe has tried catastrophic damages cases in the areas of professional liability, products liability, transportation, construction, and major fire losses. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire.
Joe Desmond has been with the firm since 1999, and leads a practice group of seven attorneys who concentrate in Long Term Care litigation and risk management. Joe is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut, and has defended long-term care providers throughout New England. He has represented his clients in precedent-setting cases at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court on several occasions, and is a frequently invited to speak at industry events nationwide. Joe will be presenting at the 2018 DRI Nursing Home ALF Litigation seminar in New Orleans on September 13, speaking on how to make caregivers advocates for the healthcare facilities at trial.
