At its recent meeting in San Antonio, TX, the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers elected Morrison Mahoney attorney Richard L. Neumeier to its Board of Directors. He previously chaired the ABA TTIPS Appellate Advocacy Committee, the MBA Appellate Litigation Committee, and the BBA Appellate Litigation Committee.
Election to the Academy’s Board of Directors reflects Richard’s excellence as an appellate attorney. The Academy has approximately 300 members in the United States, only four of whom are Massachusetts lawyers. Membership in the Academy is reserved for experienced appellate advocates who have demonstrated the highest skill level and integrity. Nominations to the organization can only be made by current member and nominees are thoroughly vetted by the legal and judicial communities in a confidential process and must be elected to membership by the board of directors.
