Morrison Mahoney Partner Doug Price and Associate Janelle Gordon recently obtained a defense verdict following a four-day jury trial in Suffolk Superior Court. The plaintiff alleged that during a transport by an ambulance company he was dropped multiple times causing an exacerbation to a preexisting back condition. Doug and Janelle represented the defendant ambulance company.
The plaintiff was pro se which made for a difficult and challenging trial. Ultimately, Doug and Janelle were able to discredit the plaintiff through various witnesses and medical records. After a short deliberation, the jury found that the defendant was not negligent.
