Members of the Non-Medical Professional Practices Group presented a mock trial to the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents at their annual convention, The Big Event. The original fact pattern, “Somebody Hacked the Wizard—A Data Breach at the Emerald City Insurance Agency,” was modeled after an actual case and addressed cyber liability and data privacy issues with a Wizard of Oz theme.
The Morrison mock trial has become a popular staple of the Big Event. This was the firm’s 16th year presenting, each year with a new fact pattern and a different theme.
