Boston Partner Scott Burke and Associate Alan Brown recently obtained a dismissal of a Board of Bar Overseers complaint. The complainant, herself an attorney, alleged various improprieties in the manner in which the respondent advertised her law practice (the respondent worked part time as an associate for a law firm while simultaneously maintaining a solo practice of her own) and took issue with the respondent’s representation of a mutual client in a probate matter. Working with Springfield Partner John Bagley and Boston Partner Steve Bolotin, Alan is 3 for 3 over the last 6 months in obtaining dismissals in Board of Bar Overseers matters.
