Morrison Mahoney Partners Allyson Belmont and Paul Tarr recently won summary judgment and dismissal of a case involving a fuel truck in Bronx, New York.

The case involved a three-vehicle rear end collision. Plaintiff alleged that both defendants were at fault for the collision. Our client, however, had dashcam video, inward and outward facing. The dashcam, which they had properly authenticated, supported our driver’s accident description and exonerated him.

Allyson and Paul made the motion before depositions were even taken and well before unnecessary discovery was conducted. Plaintiffs and co-defendants tried to argue further discovery was necessary as a means to forestall a decision, but they were unsuccessful.
