Trial Verdict 2016-6: Boston Partner Peter Knight & Associate Jake Struck

Boston Partner Peter Knight, with the assistance of Associate Jake Struck, secured a defense verdict from Suffolk County in a two-week jury trial in which the plaintiff argued that a 57-year old with a tracheostomy breathing tube died due to negligent care. Our client denied any deviation from the standard of care—routine PRN trach care—and asserted that the final event was a rare unforeseeable event. The defense presented excellent experts from MGH and B&W Hospital.
