New Jersey Partner Christopher Martin and Associates Neil Tortora and Lina Corriston successfully obtained an Order Granting Summary Judgment from the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in a legal malpractice case.
Plaintiff claimed that our attorney client had deviated from the standard of care in terms of legal representation in an underlying suit for harassment and discrimination against a public school entity. Plaintiff failed, as a matter of law, to provide the necessary expert opinion to support the alleged deviation from the standard of care and in this light the court dismissed the legal malpractice action with prejudice.
