Morrison Mahoney Partner Joseph Mascaro recently obtained a defense verdict following a 5-day trial in Bridgeport Superior Court in a premise liability matter.
Plaintiff, an employee of a subcontractor, slipped and fell on a bottle in a small pile of trash on a construction site. Plaintiff injured his shoulder, underwent 3 surgeries on his shoulder and missed a substantial amount of time from work. Plaintiff alleged that our client, who was responsible for removal of trash from the building being constructed, was negligent in the performance of its duties.
The jury returned a verdict in favor of our client after about 1-hour of deliberation.
