Trial Verdict 2016-19: Morrison Mahoney Secures Multi-million Dollar Verdict

Morrison Mahoney Partners John Knight and Christopher Davidson, along with Associates Corey Mastin, Bridget Regan, and Brian Morrissey, prevailed in the Suffolk Superior Court in a case involving the representation of an insurance company in a contribution action. The insurance company had settled the underlying lawsuit brought by the plaintiff for $3.75 million. John and his team convinced the jury that the insured was not at fault and proved that the underlying settlement of $3.75 million was reasonable. As a result of their efforts, the insurer is entitled to recover 50 percent of the underlying settlement, plus interest, an amount totaling approximately $2.2 million.
