BOSTON, MA – Morrison Mahoney LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Grace V.B. Garcia has been elected Managing Partner of the firm.
As Managing Partner, Grace will be responsible for all firm operations across Morrison Mahoney’s 10 offices throughout the Northeast as she maintains her active practice. Grace brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished track record to this leadership role. She has served as President of both the Massachusetts Bar Association—the first to come from Morrison Mahoney— and the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association. She remains involved in both organizations as past president, and currently serves as Vice Chair to the Board of Directors of ALFA International.
Having been with Morrison Mahoney for 22 years, she has demonstrated exceptional legal acumen, dedication to client service, and a commitment to the firm’s core values. With over 25 years of trial and litigation experience, Grace has built a reputable practice in the areas of product liability, construction law—including personal injury, construction defect, and contractual—OSHA, commercial litigation, employment litigation, premises liability and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) cases, earning Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association’s Lawyer of the Year in 2022. As a trusted advisor to her clients, Grace has consistently delivered outstanding results, contributing significantly to the firm’s growth and success.
In her new role, Grace will oversee the strategic direction of the firm, ensuring the continued excellence as a litigation defense firm that Morrison Mahoney is known for. She will also focus on fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports the professional development of all attorneys and staff within the firm.
Grace succeeds Scott D. Burke, who became Morrison Mahoney’s Managing Partner in 2016 and who will continue to assist with firm operations as a member of the Executive Committee.
