Trial Verdict 2016-1: Boston Partner Douglas Price

Boston Partner Douglas Price received a defense verdict after a two-day jury trial in Plymouth County. At issue in the case was a motor vehicle accident in which the plaintiff turned in front of our client’s approaching vehicle. The plaintiff claimed that our client lost control of her vehicle due to the rainy road conditions and swerved into the opposite lane of travel, striking his vehicle. There were no eyewitnesses to the accident. At trial, we were able to discredit the plaintiff’s version of the events and after a short deliberation, the jury found our client was not negligent.
