Marla Buitrago is an associate in the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney. She concentrates her practice in the areas of general liability and professional liability and represents non-medical professionals including attorneys, real estate professionals, design professionals and insurance brokers on a variety of malpractice claims. Marla has experience in all stages of litigation, as well as appeals, and has represented clients in various proceedings including but not limited to depositions, dispositive motion hearings and mediations/arbitrations.
Prior to joining Morrison Mahoney, Marla practiced at a New Jersey law firm in commercial litigation and insurance defense and clerked for a former presiding judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division. During her time at Rutgers Law School, Marla was a founding member and senior articles editor of the Rutgers International Law and Human Rights Journal. Marla is also fluent in Spanish.
