Kristina Hultman is a Partner in the Providence office of Morrison Mahoney. She has concentrated her practice in the areas of transportation, retail and hospitality, insurance defense and insurance coverage litigation. Throughout her career she has represented major national retailers and transportation service providers.

Kristina has tried several cases to conclusion. She has extensive experience arguing dispositive motions and representing clients during arbitrations and mediations.

  • Obtained defense verdict at trial of a pedestrian versus automobile accident resulting in permanent injuries which also involved allegations of negligent parking and negligent roadway design.
  • Successfully argued before the Rhode Island Supreme Court to affirm summary judgment on a legal malpractice claim involving issues of the discovery rule and the statute of limitations
  • Conducted immediate response and investigation after motor vehicle collisions and motor vehicle fatalities, including evidence preservation, witness interviews, coordination with law enforcement, and retention of experts
  • Represented defendant transportation company and obtained summary judgment on issue of applicability of the uninsured motorist statute and argued before First Circuit Court of Appeals on plaintiff’s appeal of summary judgment.
