Morrison Mahoney Partners Alan Brown and Chris Storm were both recently quoted in articles in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
In the article “Claim against firm by law partners’ widow subject to arbitration,” Alan commented on a Superior Court judge’s decision that a mandatory arbitration provision in a law firm’s partnership agreement applied to a claim of unpaid compensation filed by the estate of a deceased partner.
In “Headhunter demands more cash in placement of Boston partner,” Chris commented on a Chapter 93A suit filed by a local legal recruiter that claims it is owed $375,000 for placing a partner at a Boston firm earlier this year.
