Paralegal (General & Professional Liability) – Hartford, CT

Morrison Mahoney LLP seeks a General & Professional Liability (Defense) Litigation Paralegal for its Hartford, Connecticut office.

Responsibilities: 

• Assisting attorneys on a daily basis with civil defense case management.
• Communication with clients and experts.
• Drafting of letters, motions, discovery, and pleadings.
• Handling medical record retrieval, tracking responses from providers,
  and indexing medical records and bills.
• Management of schedules and deadlines.
• Assisting counsel with deposition and trial preparation.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience (minimum).
• General & Professional Liability defense experience required.
• Strong computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with e-filing in both state and federal courts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Salary:  $60K – $70K.
